Even if aquatic animals do not soak in the rain – they still might profit from regulating the temperature of ponds, fish breeding tanks or aquacultures.
We offer equipment in various materials to operate in your aquaculture or fish farming in salt water as well as in fresh water.
We’ve recently introduced stainless steel 1.4539/AISI 904L to our assortment, which especially suits sea water applications and is inexpensive compared to titanium (also available). Fresh water applications may be equipped with stainless steel 1.4301/AISI 304, stainless steel 1.4404/316L or stainless steel 1.4571/AISI 316Ti.
Heat exchangers made from the new stainless steel 1.4539/AIS 904L feature easy handling like heat exchangers made of titanium or the other stainless steel grades respectively. Having smooth edges and large gaps between the plates eliminates the risk of fishes, crustaceans and molluscs becoming stuck and protects them from injury. Residuals or biofilms can be removed by simply wiping the heat exchanger surface.
Heat exchangers SYNOTHERM® are suited for heating as well as cooling operation. Please get in touch if you’d like to explore using SYNOTHERM for maintaining control over the temperature of your fishes’, crustaceans’ or molluscs’ habitat independent from weather conditions.
